As I was always going to share out 70% of the beer, there's no point in giving someone something I know they wont like before they've even tasted it.
So good old Lager it was.
I ordered this from http://www.brewuk.co.uk/ where there is a wide ranging selection of all sorts of beer kits. An easy site to navigate with a friendly forum as well which i use a lot to see if I'm on the right road. Go check it out.
The kit contents were; the can of malt (pictured), sachet of 6G Yeast, 1kg Brewing Sugar and a bag of Coopers Carbonation Drops. Simple.
The instructions inside covered every angle and weren't complicated.
Although personally I wanted to brew up an ale of some sorts, I felt this was a great choice and had good reviews.
